To the right of the entrance

Did you know that 90% of people head to the right when they enter a room? It's true! If you plant yourself there, you'll get first dibs on who comes through the door. Make sure you stand at least 10 feet away from the door, though. You want a chance to get inside and check out the room- before you make your flirty move!

At the back of the room

This is where the leaders-of-the-pack tend to gather, so if you hang there, you will automatically be seen as more popular and "in." - your targets will have to push through the crowd to get to where you are, their brain will get the message that you're worth the effort!

In small spaces

This one's pretty obvious - the smaller the area, the closer people have to stand to each other. So stay away from the wide-open center of the room, and make yourself a place in the smaller kitchen or even the hallway. The more confined your surroundings, the more excuses and the more the chances of getting in touch with someone!
